Grant Rowan’s Personal Connection to the Construction Trade
Grant got into this work the way a lot of people who stay in it do - by accident, then by obsession, then by the realization that nothing else felt as honest. The first real job was helping a tradesman who trained us reframe a garage in Culver City in the early 2000s. Grant was supposed to be there for two days, hauling debris and learning to read a tape. He holds a California state contractor’s license and carries the insurance and bonding required for residential construction throughout Los Angeles County. His training came up through the field - framing, concrete, finish carpentry - before moving into project management and eventually branch ownership.
What separates Grant from a corporate franchise technician is simple: he’s the one who answers when something goes sideways. Not a regional manager, not a call center. A live coordinator takes the initial call, but Grant reviews every scope before it goes out, signs every change order, and personally handles the jobs where the existing conditions don’t match what we expected. His hobby is furniture building in a small shop in West Los Angeles, mostly pieces for family and the occasional commission. Our hours follow the rhythm of Los Angeles life: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, because we know weekdays are packed and weekends are when you can actually think about your project.
